Hi, my name is Cortney Sowa.I am from a small town in Michigan. I am 21 years old and enjoy living life! I believe that I have a divine purpose in my life and live everyday striving to do God's will. Most of all, I love to have fun! I spend most all of my time with friends and family. They are very important to me and are a big part of my life and support team. I enjoy doing anything in the outdoors. I kayak, hike, snowshoe, and of course spend a lot of time in the summer at the beach. I guess that's what happens when you live so close to the great lakes! I work at shoe carnival part time while going to school full time. As you would guess, I love shoes and own many! I don't know what is to come out of this trip, but I feel very led to do this! It was kind of a spur of the moment decision to go, but it feels so right! I am excited to meet many knew people and serve others. Most of all, I am excited to grow in my faith and become closer to my dad in heaven!
